I was fortunate enough to find a website that unites people who share health concerns.

Makingcontact.org may or may not have your diagnosis in it’s searchable database, but you can submit your health concern(s) to be included.

My son has Aplasia Cutis Congenita (ACC). I was able to find a few people on makingcontact.org whose kids were also diagnosed.

My reasoning is that the more people talk about the health concerns that affect their lives (or their loved ones lives), the more effective treatments (both emotional and scientific) can be realized.

Dave Ramsey’s Baby Steps

I was introduced to Dave Ramsey via a co-worker (thanks AJ!).

I listened to a podcast from his radio program then discovered he was also on one of my cable TV channels (Fox Business News).

He has created a sound financial plan that’s easy to wrap your mind around called Baby Steps.

Baby Steps are inspiring for me since they logically make sense and seem very attainable.

The catch of course is to execute the plan so “you can live like no one else”.

I’ve read The Total Money Makeover so if you want me to discuss any of the Baby Steps in more detail or you just have personal finance questions in general, please let us know.
